FRESH evidence is being weighed in JonBenét Ramsey’s murder case nearly three decades after the 6-year-old was found dead.
Cops in Boulder, Colorado, insisted it’s never too late for justice as they insist detectives are conducting new interviews after receiving recent tips.

The update was provided in an annual report and a December 12 video message from Police Chief Stephen Redfearn.
Redfearn said investigators have collected evidence and “tested and re-tested other pieces of evidence” to try to generate new leads.
He pointed to advances in technology, especially DNA, as a reason for the public to have renewed hope.
Police did not specify what the “new evidence” is or identify who was interviewed, but insisted that hopes for justice should never dim.
“It is never too late for people with knowledge of this terrible crime to come forward,” Redfearn said.
He added, “I urge those responsible for this murder to contact us.”
DECADES-LONG MYSTERY
JonBenet was reported missing on December 26, 1996, by her mom. Patsy, who called the police from the family home.
Officers were told a ransom note had been found, claiming the child had been kidnapped.
The letter demanded $118,000 and warned the family not to contact law enforcement.
However, hours later, JonBenet’s body was discovered inside the basement spare room of their home during a wider search.
The little girl’s body was found with duct 𝓉𝒶𝓅𝑒 on her mouth and around her neck, police records show.
Her death was ruled a homicide, and the cause was listed as asphyxiation from strangulation.
Three days later, her body was flown to Atlanta, and she was buried in Marietta, Georgia.
Investigators later said they believed the ransom note was written inside the house.
A handwriting test eliminated dad John Ramsey as the writer, but did not clear Patsy, according to the timeline.
However, Patsy died at 49 on June 24, 2006.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
For years, the Ramseys remained under suspicion as the case spiraled into intense public speculation.
The family later moved back to Atlanta as the investigation continued.
JonBenet’s brother Burke, who was 9 at the time, was questioned by authorities.
The following decades saw detective shake-ups, grand jury proceedings, and DNA efforts that failed to result in charges.
The case was also rocked by a teacher’s confession that was later proven false.
The Ramseys have filed multiple lawsuits over coverage they say wrongly painted them as responsible for their daughter’s death.
The US Sun has previously reported on a puzzling letter addressed to John Ramsey that claimed to identify the killer, a note a retired Colorado police lieutenant suggested could be a distraction.
