🚨 CHRISTMAS NIGHT HORROR AT CVS: YOUNG WORKER STABBED TO DEATH ONE HOUR BEFORE CLOSING 🩸🎄 A routine holiday shift turned into a nightmare on Long Island as 23-year-old CVS employee Edeedson Cine was brutally stabbed in the chest and left dying inside the store on Christmas Day. Just before 7 p.m., with customers still nearby and the pharmacy preparing to close, chaos erupted inside the Lindenhurst CVS on Montauk Highway. Cine — described as a hardworking, dedicated employee — was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. Police say the suspect, 43-year-old John Pilaccio, fled into the night before being arrested hours later and charged with second-degree murder. No motive. No warning. A life cut short on a night meant for family, not violence.

A brute is behind bars after allegedly viciously knifing a CVS employee to death inside one of the pharmacy giant’s Long Island outposts on Christmas Day, police said.

Edeedson Cine, 23, was stabbed in the chest by a violent maniac just before 7 p.m. — an hour before closing — in a tragic slaying inside the Lindenhurst CVS on Montauk Highway, where he had been working for the past 10 months, police and store representatives said.

Cine’s alleged killer, 43-year-old John Pilaccio, was arrested Friday night, cops said.

Edeedson Cine, 23, was stabbed in the chest by a violent maniac just before 7 p.m. while working at the CVS on Montauk Highway.
Cine had been working at the CVS store for the past 10 months.

“We’re devastated over the tragic stabbing that occurred inside our East Montauk Highway store on Christmas night,” a spokesperson for CVS said in a statement to The Post.

“Edeedson Cine was a valued member of the store team, known for his strong work ethic — his loss will be felt by all of us,” the rep added, calling the West Babylon victim a hard-working and dedicated employee.

First responders arrived at the store after receiving a 911 call about the stabbing — and found a fatally injured Cine, who was then rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was declared dead, police said.

John Pilaccio is charged with second-degree murder.

Pilaccio, only described as a white man who appeared to be in his 40s, then ran off, leading cops on an exhaustive search.

Officials have so far offered few details on what could have triggered the attack or said whether the suspect and victim knew each other prior to the stabbing.

“Our thoughts are with Edeedson’s family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time,” the CVS rep said.

Cine was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was declared dead, police said.

Pilacco was charged with second-degree murder and will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.

He is being held at the department’s Third Precinct lockup.
