Authorities intensify search across the county
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is escalating search efforts after three teenagers were reported missing in separate, unrelated cases. While one teen has now been found safe, investigators confirmed that a body matching another teen’s description has been located, and a third remains missing.
Officials are urging residents, particularly those on the northwest side near Potranco Road, to review home surveillance, dashcam footage, and report any relevant information immediately.

Camila Mendoza Olmos, 19: Body located pending identification
Nineteen-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos was last seen leaving her home in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring at 6:58 a.m. on Christmas Eve. According to family members, she regularly went on morning walks but failed to return that day.
Initial home surveillance footage showed a person believed to be Camila checking inside her vehicle before walking away on foot. Her car was left behind at the residence.
New dashcam footage released by investigators shows a person matching Camila’s description walking northbound on Wildhorse Parkway around 7:00 a.m. on December 24.
Search crews later discovered a body at approximately 4:45 p.m. near the Burning Bush Landscaping Company, within a few hundred yards of Camila’s home, in an area of tall grass. Investigators say the clothing matched Camila’s description, though the body has not yet been formally identified.
A firearm that authorities had been searching for was found near the body. Officials have not determined whether the death was a suicide or homicide. The medical examiner will confirm the identity and cause of death in the coming days.
The FBI and Homeland Security are assisting by analyzing digital evidence and monitoring outbound flights and border crossings as a precaution.

Angelique Johnson, 17: Search ongoing
Seventeen-year-old Angelique Johnson remains missing. She was last seen at her home in the 130 block of Exeter Place, near Potranco Road on the northwest side of the county.
Investigators believe Angelique may still have her cellphone with her, but her current location and intended destination are unknown. Authorities continue to canvass the area and follow digital leads.

Sofia Gabriela Peters-Cobos, 14: Found safe
Fourteen-year-old Sofia Gabriela Peters-Cobos, who was reported missing after leaving her home near Landon Ridge and Potranco Road on December 29, has been found alive and well.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office confirmed her safe recovery in a social media update late Monday afternoon.
