Woman who accused Alexander brothers of NY sexual assault mysteriously found dead in Australia: report

The woman whose ๐’”๐’†๐’™๐’–๐’‚๐’ ๐’ถ๐“ˆ๐“ˆ๐’ถ๐“Š๐“๐“‰ claims against disgraced twin luxury real estate moguls Oren and Alon Alexander helped spark dozens of similar ๐’ถ๐“๐“๐‘’๐‘”๐’ถ๐“‰๐’พ๐“ธ๐“ƒ๐“ˆ worldwide was mysteriously found dead in Australia.

Kate Whiteman died at age 45 near Sydney late last year, and authorities are now investigating her death, a New South Wales coronerโ€™s spokesperson confirmed to the New York Times.

No official cause of death has been determined, the spokesperson said, adding that probes are typically triggered when there are questions about whether the death resulted from โ€œnatural causes.โ€

New South Wales authorities declined to comment to the outlet.

Whiteman sued Oren, co-founder of the Side-backed brokerage firm Official, and Alon, a private security firm executive, in March 2024, claiming the multimillionaire twins brutally raped her at infamous party palace โ€œSir Ivanโ€™s Castleโ€ in Water Mill, Long Island, in 2012.

The Australian socialite claimed she met the brothers, regulars on the New York party circuit, at a Manhattan nightclub in 2012 and was forced into their SUV as she was leaving, according to civil suit.

The pair drove her to the Southampton party mansion โ€” owned by flamboyant banking heir-turned-recording artist Ivan Wilzig โ€” where she was โ€œsexually assaulted, abused, raped, pinned, groped, harassed, battered, and fondledโ€ by the ๐’”๐’„๐’‚๐“ƒ๐’…๐’‚๐“-plagued brothers inside.

Whitemanโ€™s lawsuit triggered a wave of ๐’ถ๐“๐“๐‘’๐‘”๐’ถ๐“‰๐’พ๐“ธ๐“ƒ๐“ˆ that ended with the twins, along with their older brother, Tal, being accused of drugging and violently raping at least 60 women.

While the brothers denied the ๐’ถ๐“๐“๐‘’๐‘”๐’ถ๐“‰๐’พ๐“ธ๐“ƒ๐“ˆ, all three found themselves cuffed in December 2024 by the feds in Florida and charged with 10 counts of conspiracy and ๐’”๐’†๐’™ trafficking.

In the months leading up to Whitemanโ€™s death, the Alexandersโ€™ lawyers had skewered the Australian native in legal filings that included semi-๐“ท๐“พ๐“ญ๐“ฎ photos of the accuser and ๐“ฎ๐”๐“น๐“ต๐“ฒ๐“ฌ๐“ฒ๐“ฝ messages she sent to the brothers after the alleged rape.

โ€œWhitemanโ€™s obsessive pursuit and compulsive stalking of the Alexanders after this purported ๐’ถ๐“ˆ๐“ˆ๐’ถ๐“Š๐“๐“‰ is completely and inexplicably inconsistent with her narrative that the Alexanders had violently kidnapped and raped her,โ€ wrote Jason Goldman, a lawyer repping Alon, in a July 2025 filing in Suffolk County Civil Court.

The filing claimed that โ€œless than a year after the alleged rape, Whiteman brought a female friend to Alonโ€™s apartment, where she posed naked with her friend while the two of them kissed.โ€ The filing included a photograph of a semi-๐“ท๐“พ๐“ญ๐“ฎ Whiteman and the friend.

But Whitemanโ€™s lawyer, Evan Torgan, fired back that the Alexanders had โ€œcherry-pickedโ€ messages from Whiteman in a bid to โ€œdistractโ€ the court from the fact that the FBI had interviewed more than 60 ๐’”๐’†๐’™๐’–๐’‚๐’ ๐’ถ๐“ˆ๐“ˆ๐’ถ๐“Š๐“๐“‰ victims who had described a similar pattern of sickening behavior from the brothers.

Whitemanโ€™s case is part of a โ€œbroader pattern of predation, manipulation, and institutional silencing,โ€ Torgan wrote to the court.

The brothers pleaded not guilty to all charges and have remained locked up since their arrest.

Their trial is set to begin in Manhattan federal court on Jan. 26, with jury selection starting Tuesday.

Whiteman was not expected to be one of the many women expected to testify at trial, a source close to the case told The Post.

Her lawyer in her civil case, Evan Torgan, declined to comment Thursday.

The Alexander Brothers and their lawyers were โ€œunawareโ€ that Whiteman had died before reading about it in media reports Thursday, said their spokesman, Juda Engelmayer.

โ€œHer attorney and the federal prosecutors were in court with us earlier this week and made no mention of it, perhaps because Ms. Whiteman was never part of the federal prosecution,โ€ Engelmayer said.

โ€œThe decision to release this information publicly on the eve of trial invites obvious questions.โ€

Prosecutors allege the Alexanders conspired from 2009 through 2021 to ๐’น๐“‡๐“Š๐‘”, sexually ๐’ถ๐“ˆ๐“ˆ๐’ถ๐“Š๐“๐“‰ and rape dozens of women โ€” luring them with luxury hotel stays, international travel and access to exclusive events.

In some cases, victims were transported across state and international lines, then drugged and physically restrained before being raped, according to the indictment.

One woman said she met Oren at a luxurious Miami house party in 2018, where he offered to give her a tour of the property after striking up a conversation.

He led her to a bedroom, then โ€œaggressively threw her onto the bed and forcibly sexually assaulted her,โ€ according to her lawsuit.

In another incident, a woman said she was invited to a New York City house party by Tal in July 2013, where she was handed an alcoholic beverage and felt โ€œlightheaded and disoriented.โ€

She says she was forcibly raped by Tal and Oren.

Oren and Tal made their names in the world of luxury real estate as agents for Douglas Elliman. They eventually started their own firm, Official, in 2022.

The brothers also face multiple civil lawsuits from women making similar ๐’ถ๐“๐“๐‘’๐‘”๐’ถ๐“‰๐’พ๐“ธ๐“ƒ๐“ˆ.

The trio are being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn โ€” the same detention facility where alleged UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione and Venezuelan dictator Nicolรกs Maduro are locked up.
